ACADEMIC PLANNING
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
PERSONAL GRADUATION PLANS
The personal graduation plan is a working document used by counselors to track student completion of graduation requirements. It is an opportunity for students and counselors to meet individual needs. The use of the program of study and personal graduation plan is necessary to ensure desired outcomes for college and career readiness.
Counselors work with students at the end of their 8th grade year to create their four-year plan. We revisit the PGP with students each year prior to course selection for the following year.

ENDORSEMENTS
An endorsement is defined as “a coherent sequence or series of courses” in one of five areas: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Business and Industry, Public Service, Arts and Humanities, and Multidisciplinary Studies. Each high school must offer courses leading to at least one endorsement, but not every school offers every endorsement.
