CREDIT BY EXAM (CBE)
Credit by Exams (CBEs) offer appropriate, reliable placement or credit for students in grades K-12. The exams are designed by curriculum experts and aligned to TEKS. Students may choose to take the exams for credit recovery or acceleration.

HOW TO REQUEST A CBE
ONE: Student will complete the CBE Request Form and have the counselor complete the Test Site information and the Proctor Agreement.
TWO: Student must sign up and pay UT High School directly.
THREE: Once the test is received by the counselor, a testing date and time will be scheduled. *NOTE: students are responsible for transportation home should the test extend beyond the normal school day.
THREE: Student will turn in scores to his/her counselor.
FOUR: Campus counselor will submit to the District for review.
FIVE: The District will reimburse students who earn a passing score.
